World History: The "Breakthrough" multimedia exhibition, dedicated to the events of World War I, opened in Moscow Region
The opening of the new multimedia exhibition will be held on February 21, 2015, in Noginsk, Moscow Region, of "The Breakthrough" Russian Military Historical Society, dedicated to the 209th Bogorodsky Infantry Regiment and to the events of the First World War.
The exposition in the round hall on the first floor of Noginsk Museum and Exhibition Center, totally built using the edge technologies, tells the story of the city Bogorodsk-Noginsk. Hall of the First World War tells the story of the tragic ordeal by battle of the regiment that bore the name of the city and was entirely formed from local residents of Bogorodsk and Bogorodsk County. The exhibition features rare photographs of Bogorodsk residents and the county of war years, archival material on the history of the regiment, weapons, items of military life, the battles maps, as well as the posters and the documents. There is an information booth in the hall, covering the main events of the First World War, major battles, personalities, weapons, awards, and the fighting approach of the Regiment. Interesting materials, provided by the members of military history clubs and the residents of the city, compliment the exhibition.
The main task of the new exhibition is to restore the historical memory of the events of the First World War and its participants.
