To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: Military documents from state archives presented in the Stavropol region

At the memorial “Post №1” in Pyatigorsk is presented the historical and documentary exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The exposition “Price of Victory” features documents from the collections of the state archives of the Stavropol region and federal archives, letters from the front, orders in troops, magazines of military actions, photographs and others. Photographs from the Russian State Archive of Cinema (Moscow) about the hardships of war and the features of everyday life at the front are very significant as well.

The exhibition is dedicated to the died during the Great Patriotic War, veterans of war and home front workers, who have suffered all the hardships of war and who contributed to the Great Victory.
