Society and book culture: Days of Orthodox Book-2015 in the Astrakhan region

As part of the Year of literature from February 19 to March 14, 2015 at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Astrakhan region, the Astrakhan Metropolitan and the N. K. Krupskaya Regional Scientific Library in the Astrakhan region for the fourth time are held Days of the Orthodox Book. Traditionally the program of Days includes a series of events, which are held at various venues of the city and the region. 

As part of the Opening of Days of Orthodox Book on February 19 in the reading room of the library will take place the program presentation of the Days of Orthodox Book-2015, the review of significant events 2015 in the history of Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church, a special place among which belongs to the 1000^th anniversary of the submission of Prince Vladimir. The guests of the event will be also presented a book exhibition “Russia is unthinkable without names”, the information about the important projects of the library, art exhibitions, the choir of the monastery.
