The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: The exhibition “Artist and a Book” from the collections of the Museum of Art Culture of the Novgorod land

In 2014 at the State Museum of Art Culture of the Novgorod land was launched an exhibition project “Introduction to the Collection”. As part of the project visitors can see objects from different museum collections.

In 2015 the project is opened with the exhibition “Artist and a Book”. The exhibition features illustrations of Novgorod artists to the works of Russian and foreign literature. Visitors will be able to see illustrations of famous book graphic artists Mstislav Dobuzhinsky and Boris Nepomnyaschiy. Various book editions revived the illustrations of by Alexei Korelyakov, Georgy Gorevoy, Ilya Kushnir, Svetalana Garbar, Elena Kisileva, and Alexandra Gorodetskaya.
