To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “My family during the war. History in faces” in Saint-Petersburg

With the participation of the representative office of the Russian Military-Historical Society in the North-West Federal District Library and Information Faculty of the Saint-Petersburg State Institute of Culture took place the opening of the exhibition of the works of students and teachers “My family during the war.  History on faces”, dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The exhibition presents episodes of family history of the Great Patriotic War. These are the memories of the participants of battles, home front workers, families who were in the occupied territories and the siege of Leningrad. It is a reflection of the hardships of the students of the Faculty ported in wartime. Presented materials include copies of premium sheets and name lists of incurred losses from the database of the Ministry of Defense "Feat people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and "Memorial".

The exhibition will run until the end of May 2015.
