Internet and society: The Ulyanovsk Regional Library holds the International action “Get Online Week!”

The Palace of a Book – the V. I. Lenin Ulyanovsk Regional Scientific Library invites everyone to join the International action “Get Online Week!” which take place from 16 until 29 March 2015.

“Get Online Week!” is the International action, aimed at introduction with information and communication technology, essential to every contemporary man for life, communication, successful employment or the beginning of the entrepreneurial business.

Throughout six years the action “Get Online Week!” takes place during the last two weeks of March. During this period, more than 100,000 people in 25 countries around the world come to the computer centers, schools, libraries, and access the Internet with the help of professionals, volunteers or relatives to get acquainted with modern information technology, test or improve their skills in this area.
