Information technology and history: The State Committee of Defense documents of the USSR digitized

The creation of the fund use to the documents of fund 664, which are stored in the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History, is completed.

Unique documents of Extraordinary highest state body with the period of the Great Patriotic War, having all the power in the country - "State Defense Committee of the USSR" are digitized. Electronic copies of famous documents will now be available at the website "Documents of the Soviet era". Digitizing materials will not only make them available to a wide range of researchers and users, but also preserve the originals, remove them from circulation. 

To RGASPI the establishment of the use fund 644 to documents greatly facilitates the work with citizens, the user experience of this historical information, the demand for which in the year of the 70th anniversary of the Victory has increased significantly.
