Society and culture: More than a hundred works of Russian painting of the XIX-XX centuries are presented at the exhibition in the Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) continues to acquaint the general public with the private collections of Russian collectors - until September 6 in the halls of the Department of Private Collections is presented a collection of Alexander Volodchinsky. The exhibition in the Pushkin Museum is the first show of the collector assembly to the general public. The exhibition includes more than a hundred works of Russian painting of the XIX-XX centuries such artists as Vasily Perov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Levitan, Viktor Vasnetsov, Constantine and Vladimir Makovsky, Alexander Benois, Boris Kustodiev, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky and Nathan Altman.

The collection of Alexander Volodchinsky will be interesting to a wide range of art lovers and professionals in the field of painting. The collection includes the works of genre painting of the second half of the XIX century, and the painting of the Wanderers and the "Russian impressionists".
