On the Day of Italy, December 14, 2015 at the State Hermitage Museum (Saint-Petersburg) was opened the exhibition of one painting “Federico Barocci “The Appearance of Christ to Maria Magdalene” ("Noli me tangere")” from the collection of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
Federico Barocci (about 1530-1535 - 1612) - one of the greatest Italian artists of the turn of the centuries XVI -XVII. Works by F. Barocci had an impact on the development of European painting of the following centuries. The Hermitage presents such works of Federico Barocci as "Portrait of a Man" (on display in the room № 216) of the workshop and later repeats his famous paintings, as well as several graphic compositions.
