
History of Russia: The exhibition “These battles originated Victory” in Moscow
May 28, 2016 in the Hall of Warlords of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (Moscow) began its work the exhibition "These battles originated Victory", prepared jointly with the Central Museum of the Russian Border FSB and dedicated to the Day of the Border Guard.
The basis of the exhibition is original and unique documents and photographs, weapons and uniforms. Among the relics - objects found on the ground fighting, including those found on the territory of the Brest Fortress, where border guards together with the Red Army had a fierce resistance and fought for over a month in the full environment.
The exhibits, including artifacts, found in places where finding the 17th Brest, 86th August, 91-Rava-Russian, and the 106th detachments of Tauragė show an unprecedented feat of border troops in the first battles of the Great Patriotic War. Museum visitors are presented glory banner border regiments, personal items belonging to the Heroes of the Soviet Union F. P. Korenchuk, A. V. Ryzhikov and other soldiers and officers who defended the Motherland.
