The exhibition "Vasily Vasilievich Rozanov" opens on June 30, 2016 at the A. A. Blok Museum-apartment (St. Petersburg).
The exhibition is dedicated to the philosopher and writer, one of the most important representatives of Russian culture in the late XIX - early XX century - Vasily Rozanov (1856-1919). 2016 marks 160 years since his birth.
The exhibition includes items from the collections of the State Museum of History of St. Petersburg: books and magazines from the library of V. N. Orlov, manuscripts, photographs and graphic materials from the collection of N. P. Ilyin.
The exhibition also covers the activities of V. V. Rozanov as a religious thinker. In 1901, he became one of the founders of the Religious-Philosophical Society, the meeting of which took place in 1901-1903 and 1907-1917 respectively.
