Information technology and museums: Virtual tours through the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts is presented

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) opens its exhibition halls for virtual walks. Now your favorite picture, a statue, an amphora, you can see at any time and for free: at home, on the road, in the classroom, on the nature, alone or with family, you can take a fascinating walk through the halls of the Museum, by connecting your computer or mobile phone to the Internet and opening the website virtual.arts-museum.ru.

Virtual panoramas of expositions of the Main building (Volkhonka Street, 12), Art Galleries of countries of Europe and America of the XIX-XX centuries (Volkhonka Street, 14), the Department of Private Collections (Volkhonka Street, 10), the I. V. Tsvetaeva Educational Art Museum (Chayanov Street, 15) and the Memorial Apartment of Svyatoslav Richter (Bolshaya Bronnaya, 2/6) are available in two viewing modes:

- High-quality panorama photo with interactive exhibits challenge, equipped with audio guides and text notes to the halls and exhibits;

- 3D-version of walks for mobile viewing with glasses VR (virtual reality) and immersive audio guides.

Both modes are available of the displacement between the five buildings within each - between floors, rooms and viewpoints in the hall, a function call to an audio and exhibit hall. In the version for PCs and tablet devices available: zoom (zoom in and remove the panorama), calling the text explanations, audio guide and a complete list of the exhibits in the hall, a separate subject cards with detailed viewing high-quality images, the challenge of additional photos, media objects, audio, text attribution and annotation.
