3 September 2016

Google in partnership with the film studio "Mosfilm" announced the launch of the third annual Google-readings.

The new project "The Master and Margarita. I was there" is timed to the 125th anniversary of Mikhail Bulgakov and the 50th anniversary of "The Master and Margarita", the first edition of his novel.

500 people will read the work, and the broadcast will be implemented on YouTube. Images of the participants will impose on background illustration (khromakey) to the novel. Readings will be held on 11 and 12 November in eight cities of Russia (in particular, in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Vladivostok) and Tel Aviv (Israel).

Anyone who wishes to participate must be tested for the project site until 5 October. Next the user is invited to read a passage of the novel before the camera and send the item to the project committee, which will select the best readers and distribute among them the material for final readings of 11 and 12 November.

In 2014, it was carried out on-line reading of Leo Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina", and in 2015 - the works of Anton Chekhov.
