Society and Culture: The III Arakcheev socio-political readings in the Novgorod region

October 27, 2016 in the Chudovsky district in the center of the Georgian folk art (village Gruzino of the Novgorod region) are held the III Arakcheyev socio-political readings that are dedicated to a statesman and military leader Count Alexei Andreyevich Arakcheev (1769-1834).

The event will be attended by members of the government of the Novgorod region, the leaders of the area, scientists, editors of local history publications, representatives of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps (St. Petersburg), the Yaroslav the Wise Humanities Institute of Novgorod State University, the Peter's Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Novgorod State United Museum-Reserve.

There will be held performances by participants of the readings on the theme: "Novgorod military settlements: background creation (projects and the extent of their implementation", "Testament of Count A. A. Arakcheev and his bright memory of Emperor Alexander I Blessed"", "Selco Garusovo on Lake Udomlya - birthplace of Count A. A. Arakcheev", "The first teacher of A. A. Arakcheev Grigoriy Nikiforovich Kleopin (near 1725 - after 1810) from the Udomelsky village Kotlovan" and others.

The Arakcheev readings are held once in three years.
