The Russian language and society: The VII International Pedagogical Society Conference in support of the Russian language held in Moscow
18-19 October 2016 in Moscow is held the VII International Conference of the pedagogical community in support of the Russian language.
The event brought together leaders and teachers of "Russian schools" and educational centers of Russian compatriots' organizations, representatives of the education authorities from more than 40 countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.
International Pedagogical Society in Support of the Russian language (MPO) - public association created in March 2004. The principal feature of the IGO - association of teachers and administrators in the field of school and preschool Russian-language education, as well as representatives of higher education participating in the preparation of teachers. Society - a collective member of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature and the International Council of Russian Compatriots.
The main topics of the conference: "Russian world and education in Russian in the conditions of global challenges", "Condition and prospects in Russian education development in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union", "Slavic universities as centers of development of education in Russian", "Russian School" abroad: the current stage and prospects of development". Also, the participants will work together to find answers to all relevant questions: how to generate motivation among today's teenagers to the knowledge of Russia, its culture and history, how to effectively train and develop young professionals who are ready to preserve and to develop education in Russian in the modern world.
The conference will sum up the results of activity of network of educational projects of the Company for the reporting period 2014-2016 and will determine the medium-term objectives and directions of development of the pedagogical movement in support of the Russian language in the world. Important part of the program of the conference will be the methodological workshops on subjects of humanities, workshops on the right to education and cultural identity of compatriots abroad.
