Russian culture abroad: Visit Russia Office is opened in Austrian capital

December 16, 2016 in Vienna will be held the opening ceremony of the office Visit Russia. The event will contain the presentation of Russian regions and their tourism opportunities, exclusive products, performances of Austrian partners, there will be represented partner programs and opportunities for cooperation.

National offices Visit Russia are created on public-private partnerships, cooperation between federal and regional public authorities, the private tourism and transport business. The main task of the offices is to support and develop the interest of foreign partners for travel in Russia. 

An important task of the office Visit Russia - as fully as possible to inform the tourists, tour operators and the media that the Russian hospitality institutes are willing to accept millions of tourists. New tourist destinations, developed by Russian regions, will present the beauty of our country, its diversity of traditions and culture.  

The main objectives of Visit Russia Austrian office will be:

• promotion of the tourist potential of Russia among professionals of the tourism industry in Austria;

• building a positive image of Russia in the direct audience of clients as a friendly and hospitable country;

• informing the Austrian colleagues of the host company, tourist information centers, new routes being developed for domestic and inbound tourism;

• consolidation of the work of Russian regions and the tourism business for the effective promotion of tourist products in Austria.

The opening of an office in Vienna will be preceded by an event before the start of cross Year of Tourism Austria-Russia in 2017, which will be given on 12-13 January 2017 in the Austrian capital, where at this time will be the largest tourist exhibition Ferien - Messe Wien with the participation of more than 100 countries.
