History and Culture: Exhibition on New Year's heroes in Kolomenskoye

In the Grand Exhibition Hall of the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye (Moscow) was opened a New Year exhibition "Santa Claus, and his company…", which will be running until February 26, 2017. The exhibition project offers to completely enjoy different types of Father Frost and Snow Maiden, made in different ways.

The image of Father Frost is inseparable from the traditions of winter festivals and events taking place in our country. In these winter days, the museum tells the story of a New Year's celebration through the story of the main character of the holiday - Father Frost; acquaints the viewer with the technology and features of the production of toy Father Frosts; It shows rare and have never been exhibited exhibits.

The main object of the story were staged (fastened on the stand) figures of Father Frost and Snow Maidens, however, in the room you can see photos, posters, funny greeting cards, invitations, Christmas box and Christmas tree decorations, which were the link between the main exhibits of the exhibition project, making it richer and more diverse.
