Regions of Russia: A traveling exhibition on the role of women in the history of Tsaritsyno - Stalingrad was opened in the Volgograd region

The traveling exhibition "Resistance and strength of the "weak". Women in the history of Tsaritsyno - Stalingrad", will be in five districts of the Volgograd region in 2017, prepared by the staff of the memorial and historical museum with the support of the Volgograd regional branch of the Russian Military-Historical Society.

First who took it was the Nicholas Museum of Local History "Earth - Space".

The materials of the exhibitions give an idea about the activities of women in different spheres of life at the beginning of the XX century and the first decades of Soviet rule, tell about their participation in the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War, about military and labor feats.

The exhibition will run till the middle of March 2017.
