Information Technologies and Culture: The first virtual branch of the State Russian Museum in Dagestan

March 15, 2017 in Makhachkala (Republic of Dagestan) will be held the grand opening of the information and educational center "The State Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch" on the basis of the Republican multifunctional boarding school for gifted children.

"Time does not detach and does not separate from us the culture of the past, but to join the beautiful is the most difficult for residents of high mountain areas and villages, in which, except for local history, there are no museums. We plan to organize events on the basis of the information and educational center "The State Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch", in which students from different corners of our multinational republic will take part", - said the director of the Lyceum Dibir Valiev.

In the near future, the Russian Federation will open four more virtual branches of the State Russian Museum in Makhachkala, Derbent, Khasavyurt and Kaspiisk.
