On November 2, 1721, Peter the Great accepted the title of “Father of the Fatherland, Emperor of all the Russias”. By this time, the long Northern War had victoriously ended, and the Treaty of Nystad was signed. The victory over Sweden solidified Russian international authority and made it one of the largest European states.

Listeners will have an opportunity to walk the route of Bulgakov’s memorable places in the capital. Each stop is complemented by the memories of Moscow of famous writers, poets, friends, relatives and the author himself. Audio guide was dubbed by the actors of the “Masterskaya Brusnikina” theatre.

The Main Archive Administration of Moscow contains about six thousand photo-documents from the wartime of 1941-1945. The specialists of the Archive prepared the photo project Nameless Hero, marking the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow. The exposition featuring almost 200 images is available on the website of the virtual museum Moscow – Caring for History.

The first issue of the publication Siberian Trade Newspaper came out on July 9 (21), 1897. The newspaper was published in 1897-1918 and had a typography of the same name. Alexander Alexandrovich Krylov (1870-1918) was the editor and publisher of this daily public and commercial newspaper.

One of the favorite days in our country is the Spring and Labor Day. May Day received this name relatively recently, in 1992, and before that, May 1 was celebrated as the International Day of Solidarity of Workers. People went to demonstrations with banners, sang songs and chanted life-affirming slogans. They were proud of the scale of the May Day demonstration.

The new electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia - Africa: the History of Relations was available at the Presidential Library’s information stand as part of the International Inclusive Duathlon Tournament in Interactive and Classical Football Russia - Africa for children, adolescents and youth with disabilities. The exhibition We Became Adults at the Front is presented at the Museum of Military Medicine (St. Petersburg). The exhibition is dedicated to the work of the museum’s front-line brigades during the Great Patriotic War and shows rare works by Soviet artists and photographers from the museum’s collection. Special front-line brigades consisted of painters, a photographer and a pathologist.
