Teachers in the framework of the “Presidential Library’s Resources to Every School” project have discovered the possibilities of the portal prlib.ru, providing users with new opportunities to work with rare books, documents, newsreels of the last century and modern documentaries.

The Presidential Library hosted the grand opening of the exhibition “Cimmeria by Maximilian Voloshin. 1920”, dedicated to an important period in the life and career of a prominent representative of the Silver Age, cultural figure, poet, translator and artist. The exposition features paintings, photographs and archival documents, books and personal belongings of the writer from the collection of the Voloshin House-Museum (House of the Poet) in Koktebel.

On the eve of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, the Presidential Library hosted a creative lesson with the writer Marina Lykova “Journey to the world of children's book”. The library systematically implements educational programs designed for primary school age: these are multimedia lessons and support for beginning cinematographers from urban studios, and constant attention to “special” children from specialized educational institutions.

The village of Staraya Ladoga is located 130 kilometers east of St. Petersburg, in Leningrad Region, in the lower reaches of the Volkhov River. Until 1704 it had the status of a city called Ladoga. Ladoga was the first "window to Europe" for the Eastern Slavs, a key port city on the great waterways, including the famous from the Varangians to the Greeks. This city witnessed the birth of the Russian state.
