The Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve launched the exhibition "Faces of the First World War". The exposition marks the 102nd anniversary of the end of the First World War and is devoted to the memory of Russian soldiers and officers. It is available in the foyer of the historical department of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve.

On February 3, 2025, the educational event Heroes of Stalingrad: Memory and Glory was held at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library. The event was dedicated to one of the most significant events of the Great Patriotic War - the Battle of Stalingrad.

On 28 and 29 April 2025 in the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library, operating on the basis of the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library, the final stage of the historical brain-ring "Feat and Memory" took place. Its participants were students of secondary special educational institutions and secondary schools of Kurgan. There were 11 teams in total.

On June 26 (July 7), 1770 during the Russo-Turkish war of 1768-1774 took place one of the most known battles of sailing fleet. The Russian squadron under the commandment of Admiral G. A. Spiridov and captain commander S. K. Kreig defeated the Turkish Navy which outnumbered it twice. It happened in Chesma bay, Chios strait of Aegean Sea near the western coast of Turkey.
