Ivan Turgenev House Museum on Ostozhenka Street has reopened in Moscow after renovations. The renewed exhibition staged in the building showcases 1500 exhibits. A monument to Ivan Turgenev and a small “Mumu” sculpture were unveiled, too. The Turgenev Block on Ostozhenka Street is a new cultural and recreational area, which is opened to mark the bicentenary of the birth of the celebrated writer.

On November 14, 2018 the Mayakovsky Library (St. Petersburg, Dutch Church Building, Nevsky Prospekt, 20) is staging a new exhibition “Reuse. Redevelop and Design. How the Dutch Deal with Heritage”, which focuses on innovative ways to redevelop and reuse historical buildings and complexes. Projects on display were designed and implemented by the Dutch in the Netherlands and other countries of the world – Russia, Germany, the USA, Italy and China.
