Schoolchildren will be told about art at the Presidential Library

May 15, 2018 within the framework of the video lecture "Knowledge of Russia" an art-dedicated lesson, which for children will be held by artist, teacher, editor-in-chief and publisher of the magazine about art for schoolchildren "Vvedenskaya storona" Nikolai Mikhailovich Lokotkov, will take place.

The event will begin at 15:00 Moscow time and will be broadcasted live on the Presidential Library portal and in the Presidential Library group on the social network “Vkontakte”.

Nikolay Lokotkov will tell how to open school for children, about his teaching methods and the brightest issues of the journal “Vvedenskaya storona”, which he has been publishing for 20 years, and also about his work as an artist.

Participants of the video lecture will be students of the Russian Gymnasium at the State Russian Museum, the Anichkov Lyceum, the International School of the Herzen University, the I. A. Krylov Gymnasium № 24, the St. Petersburg City Children's Art School, art schools of St. Petersburg.

 Accreditation for media representatives is available until 11:00 on May 14, 2018.

Please, note, that the entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only upon prior request and upon showing a passport: participants and guests of the event pass through entrance № 1, representatives of the media pass through entrance № 2.
