The Presidential Library will bring the poets together

June 27 at 12:00 the Presidential Library will host the presentation of the almanac "Poetry Day - XXI Century. 2017".

The annual issue of the almanac is dedicated to the following anniversary dates: the 300th anniversary of A. P. Sumarokov, the 200th anniversary of A. K. Tolstoy, the 150th anniversary of K. D. Balmont, the 110th birthday of B. P. Kornilov, the 80th anniversary of B. A. Akhmadulina, the 80th birthday of V. I. Firsov.

Writers, historians, journalists, librarians, poets of St. Petersburg, Moscow and Tyumen - participants of the almanac "Poetry Day - XXI Century. 2017" will take part in the event via the video-conferencing mode. Andrey Shatskov - the editor-in-chief of the almanac "Poetry Day", vice-president of the Literary Fund "The Road of Life", laureate of the Russian Government's Culture Prize, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia; Khokhlov Vladimir Vladimirovich is the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Nevecherniy Svet", a laureate of the "Golden Word" award, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia; Novopashin Alexander Pavlovich - Adviser to the Governor of the Tyumen Region, member of the Union of Writers of Russia are, among them.

Accreditation for media representatives is available until 17:00, June 26, 2018.

Full name, name of the media, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact numbers should be indicated.

Please, note, that the entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only upon prior request and upon showing a passport: participants and guests of the event pass through entrance № 1, representatives of the media pass through entrance № 2.
