Winter Meeting of the Presidential Library’s Poetic Club

December 15, 2018 at 16:00 Senate Square, 3 will host the winter meeting of the Presidential Library’s Poetic Club. Representatives of the Union of Writers of Russia, the Union of Journalists of St. Petersburg, the concert music and literary association "Lege Artis", the literary club "Living Word", students and teachers of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Music College, modern poets and performers of St. Petersburg, readers of the Presidential Library will attend the event.

The historical, retrospective part of the concert will be accompanied by live sound of folk instruments and Russian songs, as well as forgotten works of folklore collected from ethnographic books and rare materials of the Presidential Library. The folk song “Ancient Russia” will involve, in particular, “Chastushki, collected in Vladimir and Kostroma provinces” and others.

The evening will be accompanied with the winter musical and poetic marathon, where you can learn about the works of modern St. Petersburg authors. Poets of St. Petersburg and performers of the author's song Nikolay Pavlov, Tatyana Arbatskaya, Yelizaveta Klein and others will appear before the audience at the Presidential Library.
