Key issues and problems of the state and development of education to be discussed at the Presidential Library

January 31, 2019 at 10:00 the III National Scientific and Methodological Conference with International Participation «Architecture of University Education: Contemporary Universities in a Common Information Space» will be held at the Presidential Library.

The event was organized by the St. Petersburg State University of Economics and the Presidential Library.

The conference will be held in the form of a plenary meeting, panel sessions and discussions, master classes, which will be attended by leaders and representatives of educational institutions, leading national and foreign industry-related enterprises, professional communities and associations, state authorities, corporate universities, other representatives of academic and business community.  

The topic of the plenary session is “The development of a unified information and educational space in Russia: the challenges of the present-day world and the potential of university opportunities”.

The conference will consider key issues and problems of the state and development of education, the formation of a single information space of the educational environment; the elaboration of decisions related to the improvement of educational activities, improving the quality of training graduates in accordance with the requirements of the labor market in terms of digitalization.

Turo Kilpelläinen - Rector, Lahti University of Applied Sciences, LUT University Group;

Igor Anatolyevich Maksimtsev - Rector of St. Petersburg State University of Economics;

Ilya Alexandrovich Dementyev - Rector of the Gazprom Neft Corporate University;

Dmitry Semyonovich Cherneiko - Chairman of the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Population of St. Petersburg.

09:00–09:45: media admittance.

10:00–10:20: press approach to the main speakers of the plenary session.

11:00–13:00: plenary session coverage.

13:00-15:00: work on the coverage of panel sessions.

16:00–17:30: work on the coverage of panel sessions.

Accreditation for media representatives is available until 14:00, January 30, 2019.
