Issues of digitalization of public administration to be discussed at the Presidential Library

June 21, 2019 at 10:00 the Presidential Library will host the IV International Scientific Forum "Public Administration: the Role of Citizens in the Construction of a Digital State". The conference is organized by the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

At the plenary session, participants will focus on issues of digitalization of state administration in Russia and abroad, models, tools as well as good examples of citizen involvement in e-government, the implementation of state administration in the era of big data.

The event will be attended by acting governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, the deputy chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region, the chairman of the Economic Development and Investment Activity Committee of Leningrad Region Dmitry Yalov, the director of the North-West Institute of Management of the RANEPA Vladimir Shamakhov, the deputy head of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Pryadilnikov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maxim Parshin, experts in the field of state and municipal administration, as well as foreign partners of RANEPA.

The sections and panel discussions will focus on the development of civil participation in local government, the implementation of the federal project “Smart City”, the risks of digitalization for civil society, the role of information departments in promoting the ideas of a digital state and other topics.

The plenary meeting of the IV International Scientific Forum will be broadcasted live in “Live broadcasts” section on the Presidential Library’s portal.  

 

Accreditation of media representatives is available until 16:00, June 19, 2019.

The letter must include the name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact numbers, name of the media.

Please note that the admittance to the Presidential Library is carried out only upon prior request and upon showing a passport: participants and guests of the event go through entrance № 1, media representatives go through entrance № 2.
