X "Cultural Heritage: Integration of Resources into Digital Environment" Scientific and Practical Conference

The Presidential Library, the Federal Archival Agency, the Union of Museums of Russia, the Russian Library Association, within the framework of the Annual Integration Forum, hold the X “Cultural Heritage: Integration of Resources into the Digital Environment” Scientific and Practical Conference.

X “Cultural Heritage: Integration of Resources into the Digital Environment” Scientific and Practical Conference is held in the year of the 10th anniversary of the Presidential Library. As part of the conference's activities, it is planned to discuss the problems of combining digital resources at the federal and regional levels, features of the web archiving procedure as a promising area for preserving electronic resources, integrating the content of libraries, archives, museums to support science, education, implementation of cultural and educational projects, as well as advanced training and retraining of personnel for work in modern libraries.

The following events are planned:

October 2, 2019 (Ryazan) - 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. - X "Cultural Heritage: Integration of Resources into the Digital Environment" Scientific and Practical Conference (Ryazan Gorky Regional Research Library, Ryazan).

October 2, 2019 (St. Petersburg) - 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. - round table discussion “Issues of Russia's Economic Development in 1861–1917: Methods of Studying in the Digital Environment” (Presidential Library, Saint-Petersburg);

1:00 p.m. –5:00 p.m. - round table "The Fate of the Hungarian and Russian States: from the Middle Ages to the Empire" (Presidential Library, Saint-Petersburg);

October 3, 2019 (Ryazan) - 10:00 a.m. –3:00 p.m. - master class "Presidential Library as an innovative platform for digital projects" (Ryazan Kremlin, Ryazan).

Applications for participation as listeners will be accepted until September 25, 2019. Applications for participation in the conference as speakers will be accepted until September 16, 2019.
