
The winners of the Journalistic Marathon - 2019 to be awarded at the Presidential Library
The summing up and awarding the winners of the City Journalism Marathon contest for school media editorial boards will be held in the Presidential Library on November 5 at 4:30 p.m.
In 2018, the Presidential Library (Senate Square, 3) hosted the opening of the annual contest of editorial boards of school media and this year the results of the contest will be summarized. The Presidential Library is one of the founders of the Journalistic Marathon and is very attentive to the young journalists of the city: the participants of the creative contest are provided with excellent conditions for the event.
In 2019, 120 children from ten districts of St. Petersburg and Vyborg became contestants of the Journalistic Marathon. As part of a scale program (from October 11-13), juniors attended master classes at the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the Lenfilm film studio, Etude Theater, and the Lenin Library and the Music Hall Theater.
During the period of active work, the participants created 12 media projects, 14 newspapers and more than 40 individual works in the genre of interviews, reporting and articles. All works were evaluated by a professional jury: journalists, as well as representatives of PR services and specialized universities. The results of this assessment will be known on November 5, 2019 at the award ceremony.
The contest is organized by Yunost Youth Creativity House of the Vyborg District. The Journalistic Marathon is included in the calendar of events supported by the Education Committee of St. Petersburg.
The accreditation for media representatives is until November 1, 2019 11 a.m.
