Films and lectures available on the Presidential Library’s portal online

The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films, video lectures and tours prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.

In accordance with the broadcast program, from June 15 to 19, each user has the opportunity to learn more about the era and personality of Ivan the Terrible and the Time of Troubles.

Documentary film “ECCE HOMO. A man” tells of St. Righteous John of Kronstadt - a preacher, church and public figure who lived in the late XIX - early XX centuries, revered in Russia and abroad.

Everyone have opportunity to become participants of the “Lesson of the Constitution” in the remote mode, which was prepared by the absolute winner of the All-Russian Contest “Teacher of the Year of Russia-2017” Ilya Demakov.

The film "Cosmonautics in the USSR" will help to move in time in the era of the beginning of space exploration. The film includes historical newsreels, which capture famous Soviet cosmonauts: Yuri Gagarin, Valentina Tereshkova, Alexei Leonov and others.

The Presidential Library’s portal will provide a demonstration of video materials dedicated to Alexander Pushkin. Video lecture “Alexander Pushkin: Serving the Fatherland” will help to learn more about the writer's worldview reflected in his works. The film "... my address: on Moika, near the Konyushenny bridge..." tells about the last years of Pushkin, who lived on Moika, 12, about the poet’s activity, the relationship he had with his family, the things stored in the museum.

Without leaving home, one can also visit the Novgorod State Museum-Reserve and the National Tree of Life Veps holiday, where representatives of indigenous peoples of the north of Leningrad Region gather together.
