Issues of law and information to review at the Presidential Library

The Presidential Library will host the X International Scientific and Practical Conference on Legal Regulation in the Electronic Environment "Law and Information: Issues of Theory and Practice" which will be held on December 4, 2020.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the current results of scientific research of domestic and foreign legislation and the experience of legal implementation in the context of the digitalization process of modern society.

The main topics of the conference will be theoretical problems of information law and the practice of its application, issues of improving information legislation and legislation on librarianship, legal aspects of the formation of a single Russian electronic knowledge space and providing access to legal information, issues of information protection and legal regulation of the use of information technologies, development issues of the e-government and digital economy. 

The conference, which will be held in a face-to-face-distance format, will be attended by researchers and teachers, heads and employees of state and local authorities, lawyers, employees of libraries and other organizations that provide public access to legal and other information.

Scientific materials (articles, messages, surveys, reviews, etc.) prepared by the conference participants will be published in the scientific edition of the Presidential Library - a collection from the "Electronic Legislation" series.

Accreditation for media representatives is available until 10:00, December 3, 2020.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport, mask and gloves: for media representatives - through entrance № 2; participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.
