The Presidential Library provides watching films and video lectures online

The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films, video lectures and tours prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.

In accordance with the broadcast program, on the eve of the formation day of Tyumen Region, which is celebrated on August 14, the Presidential Library’s portal will show a documentary Sverdlovsk road. Oil fields of Ob Region from the series Russia through the train window. The film tells about an expedition along the Ob River from Tyumen to the Arctic Ocean.

Thanks to the broadcast of the video lecture presented as part of the educational project of the Presidential Library Video lecture Knowledge of Russia it will be possible to learn more about the era of the Time of Troubles at the beginning of the 17th century, to learn about little-known facts about the events of that period and its figures: the "fake tsar" of False Dmitry I and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, who led the people's militia against the Polish-Lithuanian invaders.

The specialists of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, restorers and historians in the film The Saved Frescoes of the Church of the Savior on Nereditsa prepared by the Presidential Library will tell about what is being done to save the murals of ancient temples, their significance in the history of the country and the emergence of statehood.
