The Presidential Library to share its research experience at the international level

On April 6, 2022 the Presidential Library will attend the international round table "Research activities of national libraries of the CIS countries: prospects for integration". The event is held as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Library for Foreign Literature.

The round table will dwell on the tasks, directions and modern forms of scientific research carried out by the national libraries of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The focus will be on the achievements in the field of literary criticism, the history of the book, the preservation of library collections on printed and digital media, librarianship, computer science, linguistics, user audience research, as well as issues of publishing research results by national libraries. Special attention will be paid to the prospects for conducting joint research projects in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The conference will feature a speech by the Director of Information Resources of the Presidential Library Elena Zhabko “Research activities in the Presidential Library”.

The Presidential Library regularly attends international events - for example, the IFLA General Assembly, the General Meeting of the Eurasian Library Assembly (BAE), international professional forums, scientific and practical conferences.
