On June 17, 2022 at 16:30 the Presidential Library, as part of the cultural program of the anniversary XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, will host a presentation and discussion of the interregional tourist video project The Silver Ring of Russia including films about St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region. The films are created by the specialists of the newspaper "Petersburg Diary".

The Silver Ring of Russia project was launched in 2012, when President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin ordered the creation of a nationwide tourism project in the North-West of Russia. All these years, active work has been underway to unite 11 regions under a single brand, develop integrated routes, promote territories and increase the tourist flow to the regions. The main goal of the Silver Ring of Russia video project is to show the beauty and possibilities of each region of the North-West to the fullest extent possible for bright, active recreation and travel. The authors of the films captured unique monuments of history and culture, as well as the most interesting natural objects, including those included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. At the 19th Northwest Media Forum the Silver Ring of Russia media expedition became the winner of the SeZaM-2021 award in the Project of the Year nomination.
