Standards of technological development of Russia to be discussed at the Presidential Library

12–14 October 2022

On October 12-14, 2022 the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3) will host the International Technological Forum “Russian Standards Week”, timed to coincide with World Standards Day.

Since 2019, the Presidential Library, under the jurisdiction of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, is an annual venue for discussing trends in the development of international, regional and national standardization, urgent issues of the standards development, new challenges and practices for technical regulation, tools and opportunities in standardization.

This year, the main topic of the Forum will be standardization for technological development.

Within the framework of the “Russian Standards Week”, such key issues as standards for digital industry, resetting the national certification system, standardization and sustainable development, the practice of applying international and national standards in management systems, standardization of alternative plant-based foods and other relevant topics will be discussed.

The Forum is attended by heads and representatives of federal authorities, international and foreign standardization institutes, major research and educational centers, and Russian industrial enterprises.

The Forum will feature a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the competition for the All-Russian Public Award "Standardizer of the Year".

The Forum's organizer is the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency (Rosstandart).

Events of the International Technological Forum “Russian Standards Week” will be broadcast on the Presidential Library’s portal in Live broadcasts section in accordance with the program, as well as on the institution’s Rutube channel.

Accreditation of media representatives is until 10:00 October 11, 2022.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.

In order to reduce the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the use of personal protective equipment during the event is advised for all attendees.
