VI National Scientific and Methodological Conference "Architecture of University Education"

The Presidential Library and St. Petersburg State University of Economics provide the VI National Scientific and Methodological Conference with international participation "Architecture of University Education: New Educational Opportunities for Russia's Sovereignty".

The events of the scientific and methodological conference will be held from June 1-2, 2023 at the following venues:

- June 1, 2023 from 10:30 at the Presidential Library

- June 2, 2023 from 10:00 at St. Petersburg State University of Economics

St. Petersburg is known as an important scientific and educational center of Russia. More than 10% of the scientific potential of the country is concentrated here. The city is the heart of academic, industrial and university science.

For the sixth year in a row, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, the oldest university in St. Petersburg, brings together leading experts in education, business and government at the Presidential Library.

Unique in its scale and significance, the annual national conference with international participation "Architecture of University Education" has already become an authoritative discussion, scientific, methodological and educational platform for discussion and development of effective solutions.

The topical subject of the conference in 2023 is to develop and discuss a set of fundamental decisions in key areas of transforming the architecture of university education, improving its quality and designing "advanced" educational programs in the context of the emerging new national model of training for sovereign Russia, the development of science and effective collaborations with business and organizations that are becoming increasingly active in the educational space and acting as subjects of educational activity and catalysts for change.

In 2023 the conference program includes a plenary discussion, 11 thematic discussion platforms on key topics of the conference, a series of educational marathons in the format of additional professional education programs and master classes, as well as a youth block, thematic exhibition and cultural programs. 

Key topics of the conference: 

1. Basis for the development of the national education system and tools to increase its competitiveness in order to ensure the sovereignty of Russia.

2. Risk-based model in providing and assessing the quality of education: approaches and tools.

3. Integration of universities and business as a factor in the formation of technological support and scientific and educational sovereignty of Russia.

4. "Best practices" of strategic planning and development of mutually beneficial partnership between Russian higher education and subjects of leading sectors of the economy.

5. Prospects for the development of academic mobility in the Eurasian space.

6. Integration of cultural and educational institutions in the formation and harmonious development of the individual.

7. Ecosystem approach to the development of popular science and educational tourism.

Conference events will be broadcast on the Presidential Library’s portal in the Live broadcasts section in accordance with the program of live events, on the Rutube-channel of the institution, as well as on the page on the VKontakte social network.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.
