The Presidential Library and Uchitelskaya Gazeta Publishing House develop a partnership

An agreement on cooperation between the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation and Uchitelskaya Gazeta Publishing House will be signed on June 14, 2023 within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. This event will follow the established partnership between the parties in the implementation of educational projects.

The solemn ceremony will take place at 17:00 at the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3). The document will be signed by the Director General of the Presidential Library Yuri Nosov and the Director General of Uchitelskaya Gazeta Publishing House Valery Gundarev.

The partnership will be aimed at preserving the historical, cultural and scientific heritage of Russia, the mutual use of resources on the history, theory and practice of Russian statehood, as well as on issues of the Russian language.

The agreement will contain joint events and implement socially significant projects. In addition, printed and electronic editions of Uchitelskaya Gazeta will be donated to the Presidential Library’s collections.

It should be noted that this year, declared the Year of Teachers and Mentors, Uchitelskaya Gazeta online publication, together with the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia, is a partner in the contest of pedagogical projects “The Future of the Fatherland in the Hands of aTeacher”, which is held by the Presidential Library from March 20 to December 15, 2023. The main goal of the event is to identify successful pedagogical practices and reveal the possibilities of the electronic collections of the Presidential Library for use in the educational process.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a unique event in the world of economics and business. The event has been held annually since 1997, and since 2005 it has been held under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation. During this time, the forum has become the world's leading platform for the exchange of experience among representatives of the business community and the discussion of key economic issues. This time SPIEF 2023 will be held under the motto “Sovereign Development is the Foundation of a Just World. Let's join forces for the sake of future generations".

Accreditation of media representatives is until 12:00 June 13, 2023.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.

In order to reduce the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the use of personal protective equipment during the event is mandatory for all attendees.
