Scientists and professors of oriental studies to discuss issues of artificial intelligence in the Presidential Library

On January 30, 2024 at 14:00, a scientific round table “Artificial Intelligence And Oriental Studies Today” will be held at the Presidential Library. The organizers of the event are the Presidential Library and the Institute of Asian and African Studies by the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg.

As part of the round table at the event, the following issues related to the use of artificial intelligence in higher education in the humanities (including in the study of oriental studies) will be discussed:

– Types of artificial intelligence and areas of their application.

– Generative artificial intelligence: opportunities, challenges and threats.

– Using artificial intelligence technologies to complement and develop human intelligence.

– Artificial intelligence as an assistant that monitors student performance and predicts the optimal educational trajectory.

– Interactive educational environment in the context of artificial intelligence: education, training, adjustment.
 

Video recording will be carried out during the event.

The round table will take place at the address: St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3, letter A. The event starts at 14:00, registration of participants is from 13:00.

Accreditation for media representatives is until 16:00 January 29, 2024.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.
