
The Presidential Library hosts the All-Russian Conference on Hematology and Transfusiology
On June 20-21, 2024, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Topical Issues of Hematology and Transfusiology" takes place in St. Petersburg, in the Presidential Library.
The conference is organized by the Federal Biomedical Agency and the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Russian Research Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine of the Federal Biomedical Agency" (RosNIIGT FMBA).
"Topical Issues in Hematology and Transfusion" is a flagship event of RosNIIGT that traditionally attracts the attention of leading experts. This is the second time that the conference is hosted at the Presidential Library.
The program covers a wide range of topics, including problems of bone marrow transplantation, genetic methods of diagnosing and treating oncohematological diseases, assistance with acute blood loss, and promoting blood donation.
More than 450 professionals from various fields of medicine, including hematologists, oncologists, transfusiologists, microbiologists, and specialists in clinical laboratory diagnostics and hemostasiology from all over Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan have registered to attend the conference in person. Experts from Turkey are participating online.
The event is broadcasted on the Presidential Library’s portal in Live Broadcasts section, on the Rutube-channel of the institution, as well as on the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
One of the highlights of the two-day conference is a specialized exhibition showcasing the equipment and technologies currently used by hematologists and transfusiologists in their practice.
