
Video lecture at Presidential Library tells about constitutional human rights in culture field
On January 28th, 2025 at 11:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will host a lecture on Constitutional Human Rights in the Field of Culture as part of the Knowledge of Russia Video Lecture Series. This lecture is part of a larger series on the topics related to the foundation of the Presidential Library, which emphasizes that Man, His Rights and Freedoms are the Highest Constitutional Value.
Dr. Vadim Vasilyevich Mamonov, a renowned expert in the field of law and professor at Leningrad Pushkin State University, will deliver the lecture. He will discuss the constitutional principles that govern public relations in the cultural sphere, exploring concepts such as culture, cultural activities, values, and goods.
The lecture will explain constitutional freedom of artistic, literary, scientific, technical, and other forms of creativity. Participants can also discuss the constitutional rights of everyone to participate in cultural life, use cultural institutions, access cultural values, and legal foundations of state cultural policy.
The event is available for everyone. The meeting will be broadcasted on the Presidential Library’s portal in Live Broadcasts section, as well as on the Rutube-channel of the Library, on the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
The event will take place at Saint-Petersburg, Senate Square, 3.
