Visit exhibition dedicated to defenders of Fatherland hosted by Presidential Library

From February 24 to March 11 the Heroes of Our Time exhibition will take place at the Presidential Library, which was designed with the help of Russian Military Historical Society, St. Petersburg Branch. This exhibition is dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day and recognizes the feat of those who participated in the special military operation.

In the difficult realities of today's world, art continues the glorious traditions of the past and plays an invaluable role in strengthening patriotic feelings among Russian citizens. The exhibition features paintings and graphic works by the renowned St. Petersburg artist, Anatoly Annenkov, including portraits of soldiers and civilians involved in the special operation.

Anatoly Annenkov is a member of several organizations, including the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, the St. Petersburg Society of Watercolorists, the Russian Geographical Society, and the International Association of Art Historians. He has participated in both domestic and international exhibitions and his works are available in museum and private collections both in Russia and abroad.

In conjunction with the Heroes of Our Time exhibition, there will be a multimedia exhibition titled Electronic Collections of the Presidential Library: Defenders of the Fatherland. This exhibition will showcase documents and materials from two collections: History of the Russian Army and  Workers' and Peasants' Red Army (RKKA).

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.
