The Presidential Library collection has been enriched with video materials of its own production provided by the German-Russian Institute of Culture.

The film From war to peace…To the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War (8 min. 29 sec.) tells about the exhibition held in the Presidential Library from September 1 to November 9, 2015, dedicated to the final stage of the Second World War and the first post-war decade. The exposition presents rare archival, book and photographic materials.

Documentary film Russian footprints in Dresden (25 min. 03 sec.) is dedicated to the stay in Dresden of famous Russians in the XVIII-XX centuries (from Peter the Great to the poets, composers and artists of the Silver Age), as well as the life of the modern Russian community and the Orthodox parish in Dresden and the role of the German-Russian cultural institute, created on the initiative of the former colonel of the NDA GDR Wolfgang Shelke. 

The next film New Russian Footprints in Dresden (33 min. 49 sec.) tells about the stay in Dresden of famous figures of modern Russian culture in the 1990's and 2000's. The film contains reports on visits to the German-Russian Cultural Institute and performances in it by E. Evtushenko, B. Okudzhava, A. Pristavkin, D. Granin, B. Akhmadulina.

The film Cinematographic novel with a history: Russia of the XX century through the eyes of Julian Semenov (8 min. 40 sec.) tells about the exhibition timed to the 85th anniversary of the writer and dedicated to his life and creativity. The exhibition was held in the Presidential Library from October 7, 2016 to March 1, 2017. The organizers were the Presidential Library and the Julian Semenov Cultural Foundation. The exposition presents photos, manuscripts, letters, documents and personal belongings of the writer unknown to the general public.

May 26, 2017 the Presidential Library hosted the Spring Concert (63 min., 15 sec.) of the Chamber Orchestra "Divertissement", timed to the eighth anniversary of the library. The program of the concert included works by Antonio Vivaldi, Amadeus Mozart, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Bela Bartok, Dmitry Shostakovich, Andrei Petrov, Mikael Tariverdiyev, Ennio Morricone, Vladimir Kosm, Astor Piazzolla.

The preparation of new materials will be continued.
