Music of the seas will be performed in the Presidential Library
The Presidential Library (3 Senatskaya Square, St. Petersburg, RF 190000) is pleased to invite you on “Music of the Sea” multimedia concert. The event is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding Russian seascape painter Ivan Aivazovsky. This is a joint project of the St. Petersburg Embarcaderos Festival, the Presidential Library and the State Russian Museum. On top of everything, there will the descendants of the artist in the concert. The event will be aired live online at the Presidential Library website.
The night’s program includes works by the outstanding Russian and foreign composers — the marine lovers N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, performed by the Tavrichesky International Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Golikov. Prima donna of the Mariinsky Theater Oksana Shilova and soloist of the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Ovanes Nersesyan (Armenia) will perform the arias from Rimsky-Korsakov’s operas. In addition, one of the famous and most young tenors in the world, the brilliant Italian advocate of the domination of the seas and a student of Luciano Pavarotti Dario Di Vietri will perform the Neapolitan canzones. Armenian sacred music will also be performed.
Owing to current multimedia means the entire concert will be accompanied by a video of the well and also a little-known video illustrations from the masterpieces of Ivan Aivazovsky.
The top experts on the creative work of Ivan Aivazovsky from the State Russian Museum will appear with the detailed reviews of the famous painter’s life.

Your application on the attached form must specify a media name, a full name of media representative, a date and a place of the representative’s birth, full passport or picture id details (series, number, when and by what body it was issued, place of residence), a carry-on equipment (including notebooks and tablet computers), and the contact phone numbers.
Please be advised, that the event participants and guests enter the Presidential Library through the entrance № 1, and the media representatives — through the entrance № 2 by appointment only and without any exceptions upon presentment of passport or picture id.

We draw your attention that the entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only upon prior request and in the presence of a passport: participants and guests of the event through Entrance No. 1, representatives of the media - through Entrance No. 2.
