Psychological safety in the educational environment of Leningrad Oblast will be discussed in the Presidential Library

An international scientific and practical conference focused on “Psychological safety in the regional educational environment” will begin in the Presidential Library at 11 am on November 21, 2017. The event is organized upon an initiative of the Committee for General and Vocational Education of the Leningrad Oblast jointly with the Russian Academy of Education.

The conference is dedicated to summing up the results of the “Creation and implementation of the psychological safety support system for the entities of the educational environment of the Leningrad Oblast” project with “pocket of excellence” status, affiliated with the Russian Academy of Education.

The conference objective is sharing with experiences of creating and follow-up of psychologically safe environment in the region; assuring psychological protection of attending the educational institutions kids and teenagers and reducing the risks of destructive impact on the positive development of the entities of the educational environment; demonstration of the technologies and work results of the educational institutions in the region.

Representatives of the educational systems of the Russian Federation, leading scientists of the Russian Academy of Education, representatives of St. Petersburg universities, heads of executive bodies of the Leningrad Oblast, members of the Public Council under the Committee of General and Vocational Education of the Leningrad Oblast, teachers, parents, children are planed to attend.

The event agenda (at the conference atrium):

11 am — 11:30 am — Official opening of the conference.

11:30 am — 12 pm — Plenary reports.

12 pm — 13:20 pm — A discussion on project results and forecasts.

13:20 pm — 3:25 pm — The ceremony of awarding of educational organizations and teachers for achievements in the experimental work on the project.

13:25 pm — A completion of the conference.
