The “White-hot chaos” movie directed by Sergey Debizhev as “An anthology of the Russian revolution 1917” — in the Presidential Library

November 28, 2017, at 3 pm the Presidential Library Cinema Club will meet for premiere screening and discussion of the movie directed by Sergei Debizhev entitled “White-hot chaos,” dedicated to the centenary of the October Revolution of 1917. The movie was the result of work of the St. Petersburg Documentary Film Studio (“Lendok”) and the “Two Captains” company and tells about the causes of the Russian Revolution and World War I, external and internal conspiracies that led to the collapse of the monarchy and the overall world order…

The documentary, shot in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, is being announced as “an anthology of the Russian Revolution of the 1917: its main characters and events.” The viewer is offered in the course of the movie with the unique memories and conclusions of the contemporaries of the revolution.

Shortly before the screening night within a next in turn scheduled cinema club in the Presidential Library, the movie “White-hot chaos” won the Grand Prix of the Radonezh Film Festival, a well-recognized leader in the field of the religious, spiritual and ethical documentary. Traditionally, about two hundred state sponsored and non-state film production and television studios both native and foreign take part in the festival.

The meeting of the cinema club will take place in the multimedia hall of the Presidential Library at the address: 3 Senatskaya Square.
