The most talented school students of St. Petersburg and Murmansk will get together in the Presidential library

On December 11, 2017, at 11 am MSK time the final of the “Eureka. Education of the future” First Case-championship will take place in the Presidential Library. More than 80 school students from St. Petersburg and Murmansk will take part in the event. Prior to entering the final stage of the championship, students competed among themselves at school and regional levels.

More than 2000 school students took part in the championship. At the first stages they have developed the concept of creating a school mass media. Among the ideas is the creation of a mobile application that sends out homework, as well as an online platform for parents, which allows them to have online meetings. A final test for school students will be a case on the theme of “Ecology” for a solution on which they will have 10 days.

“Eureka” is an educational project of the future, supplementing the school curriculum in the main subjects with up-to-day format of case studies. The project is implemented by the “Future Leaders” Foundation with an objective at working with talented young people.

Case study is a simulated situation that requires analysis and search for effective approaches to solving the problem. This method allows students to acquire real practical skills of working in a team, to discover new talents, to choose a profession.
