The Presidential Library will host the Pushkin Memorial Day

February 9, 2018 at 10:00 the Presidential Library will host a conference-webinar "Pushkin Memorial Day", where it is planned to discuss the projects of the partners of the Presidential Library dedicated to the great Russian poet and prose writer. The event will be broadcasted live on the Presidential Library portal in the section "Live broadcast".

So, for example, the event will be about the results and prospects of the All-Russian competition of research, design and creative works on the life and work of Alexander Pushkin "Russia’ heart will not forget you, like the first love...". During the preparation of works, the digital content of the Presidential Library was actively implemented. At the conference, experts will consider in detail the experience of using the resources of the first electronic national book depository in Russia.

An international open creative web marathon "Pushkin without Borders" will be also introduced at the event. In addition, the transfer of the author's book "Bes arapsky bessarabsky" (about the Chisinau period of the poet's work) will be donated to the Presidential Library fund.

The event will be attended by the experts of the All-Russian Pushkin Museum, students of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University, the Leningrad State Pushkin University, teachers and pupils of the senior classes of Primorsky schools district of St. Petersburg.

The list of participants will be expanded due to the connection of regions via video conferencing. The conference will be joined by the National Literary Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the library - the sociocultural center "Teffi" (Tikhvin), the Pushkin Cultural and Information Center (Volkhov), the Irkutsk Regional Historical Memorial Museum of the Decembrists, the Centralized Library System of Ulyanovsk, the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library, the Aidamirov National Library of the Chechen Republic, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Chisinau and others.

Accreditation of media representatives to the event in the Presidential Library (Senate Square, 3) is until 14:00, February 8, 2018.

We draw your attention that the entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only upon showing a passport: guests and participants of the event go through the entrance № 1, representatives of the media go through the entrance № 2.
