The Presidential Library will bring together the best young designers

On March 13, 2018 at 13:00 the Presidential Library will host the final gala-show of the city open contest-festival "Week of Young Fashion Designers".

The contest was held from February 26 to March 2, 2018 among students of state general education institutions and state institutions of additional education. It was attended by 150 people, representing 22 teams.

March 13 in the Presidential Library will be shown fashionable, beautiful and unusual collections of clothes. They are created not by famous couturiers, but by the most ordinary schoolchildren.

To help gifted children and adolescents to believe in themselves, to achieve heights in their favorite creative work and proudly say "I create fashion!" is the main idea of ​​the contest-festival "Week of Young Fashion Designers". It is aimed at developing and supporting the interest of schoolchildren in the art of clothing design; to promote the modeling of the costume, to determine the choice of profession.

The Presidential Library and the St. Petersburg State Library for the Culture and Sport of the Russian Federation are the partners of the event, the founders and organizers of which are the St. Petersburg Education Committee, the St. Petersburg City Palace of Young Creativity, the City Educational and Methodical Association of Leaders and Teachers of Further Education for Children of Associations modeling clothes and GGBU Gymnasium № 528 of the Nevsky district.
