Kronstadt and Sevastopol – cities of Russian glory
May 20, 2014, the Presidential Library will host a conference-webinar "Kronstadt and Sevastopol - the cities of Russian naval glory." The event will be attended by representatives of the authorities, libraries and museums, public and political figures.

May 15, 2014 the Presidential Library will hold a video lecture timed to the 300th anniversary of the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event will begin at 10:00 Moscow time and will be broadcast live on the Presidential Library website.
Winners of the All-Russian Contest “Russia in the Electronic World” to be awarded in the Presidential Library
May 14, 2014 at 11.00 the Presidential Library will bring together winners of the All-Russian contest in history, social studies and Russian language "Russia in the Electronic World." They will be awarded certificates and souvenirs.
The Presidential Library presents unique Constitutional projects
From December 12, 2013 to May 8, 2014, at the Presidential Library will run an exhibition in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Basic Law; there also will be held the "Constitution lessons" for St. Petersburg students of 8th – 11th grades.
The Presidential Library Cinema Club meeting to consider new “LenDok” film studio projects
April 30, 2014, at 15.00 during the meeting of the Presidential Library Cinema Club, "LenDok" film studio will hold the final selection of draft movies by young directors. The studio is ready to start production of up to five films of debutant directors.
Museum of Defense and Blockade of Leningrad development to be discussed at the Presidential Library
On the eve of Victory Day, April 28-29, 2014, the Presidential Library will host the International scientific and practical conference "Link of Times: War and Its Reflection in a Modern Museum timed to the 70th anniversary of foundation of a unique museum. The conference will bring together academics, workers of museums, archives and libraries, professors and members of the community.

April 23, 2014, the Presidential Library will hold another video lecture of the cycle, "Knowledge about Russia", timed to the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Gangut.
Cinema masterpieces of 1930s to be shown at the Presidential Library
April 18, 2014, at 15.00, the regular 18th Cinema Club meeting of the Presidential Library will take place. It will demonstrate unique films from Gosfilmofond collection. Films of Alexander Medvedkin, "Thistle" and "Empty place", shot by one of the great directors of the Soviet period, will be demonstrated for the first time after a long period of neglect.
